In 1964, four children infected by this energy decided to form his own band. Then, they started to compose his songs in English, something unusual in an age when most English-speaking group performed his songs in English.
The band was finally built by Erwin Flores on vocals and rhythm guitar, Rolando "Chinese" in the first Carpio guitar, César "Papi" Castrillon on bass, and Pancho Guevara on drums. About the name "The Saicos" have been woven several versions: one says that initially called themselves "The Sadist" and that due to the censorship of the time suppressed the letter "d". The Saicos left a dozen songs recorded in 6 of 45 rpm discs, edited by DisPerú labels and the Viceroy. Each of these vinyls had two themes: Come on / Ana, Demolition / Lonely star, Straitjacket / Cemetery, I love you / Alcatraz Fugitive, Wild / The Burial of cats and Kissing another / intensity.
